Wrist coil keychain,
If you have your hands full, or use a cane or crutches to walk, the wrist coil can be invaluable. Our teen-aged daughter also has one, and thinks it’s great. The wrist coils I bought on Amazon came in a pkg of 12, and have a whistle attatched – which the kids love. These wrist coils aren’t as sturdy/thick as the one I originally purchased, but I couldn’t remember where I originally purchased my coil. If it’s for a child carrying house keys, or if you just carry a couple of keys, this will work fine, but if you carry a lot of keys, this probably won’t work well because it’s not sturdy. The colors are nice and bright, which makes them easier to find if you occasionally misplace keys. If it’s for a child, the whistle might add a bonus as far as safety is concerned – maybe. It’s plastic, so easily broken, but emits a loud enough noise it would surely attract attention if needed. I had the coils laying on our kitchen counter and the teenagers in the house – friends – all wanted one. Glad the pkg contained 12 because I wanted the kids to be able to take one.
*Warning for households with young children*
Our little boy put a coil around his neck. So be aware they do stretch out enough for kids to do this. If you have younger kids, you might want to keep them away from them.

|Wonderful for my needs.,
I am a stroke survivor, a single mother, and I continue to have mini-strokes. (AKA TIA’s) Some of the TIA’s are small, but when I’m really stressed out I have stronger TIA’s. When I have them I have trouble moving and I can’t speak. Last month I had a really bad TIA that made me fall down, and I couldn’t move or speak. Both of my children were sleeping, and I had no way of getting their attention. I was very scared, and I was on the floor for one hour before I was able to get their attention. I bought this pack of whistle’s, because I may not be able to speak, but I can blow on the whistle. This has become our “safety plan” for me. I don’t anticipate having one that strong anytime soon, but I wear the coil with the whistle on my wrist to be on the safe side. I didn’t need an expensive whistle, just one that meets my needs. I feel much safer since I bought this pack, and my kids feel better that I have it on to get their attention if/when needed.
